Effectiveness of Superior Adhesives & Chemicals Formulations Against H1N1
The recent global outbreak of H1N1 influenza virus (swine flu) has highlighted the importance of proper hygiene, including the cleaning and disinfecting of hard, non-porous surfaces. The EPA has recently noted that those products currently registered for use against the influenza A virus will be effective against the 2009-H1N1 (swine) flu strain as well as other influenza A virus strains, on hard non-porous surfaces. A list of Superior Adhesive & Chemical formulations proven effective against the influenza A virus can be found below. Superior Adhesives & Chemicals also wishes to remind our customers of the many formulations that have been proven effective against avian influenza (H5N1). Avian influenza (H5N1) is transmitted primarily through contact with surfaces and materials that have been contaminated by infected birds. A list of those Superior Adhesives & Chemicals formulations proven effective against avian influenza (H5N1) can also be found below. As always, for safe and effective use of these products, carefully follow all label instructions. Remember that your first line of defense, per CDC guidelines, is the frequent and thorough washing of hands with soap and water. Hard surface disinfectant products are not for use on skin and should only be used on hard, non-porous surfaces.
