Effectiveness of Superior Adhesives & Chemicals Formulations Against H1N1

The recent global outbreak of H1N1 influenza virus (swine flu) has highlighted the importance of proper hygiene, including the cleaning and disinfecting of hard, non-porous surfaces. The EPA has recently noted that those products currently registered for use against the influenza A virus will be effective against the 2009-H1N1 (swine) flu strain as well as other influenza A virus strains, on hard non-porous surfaces. A list of Superior Adhesive & Chemical formulations proven effective against the influenza A virus can be found below. Superior Adhesives & Chemicals also wishes to remind our customers of the many formulations that have been proven effective against avian influenza (H5N1). Avian influenza (H5N1) is transmitted primarily through contact with surfaces and materials that have been contaminated by infected birds. A list of those Superior Adhesives & Chemicals formulations proven effective against avian influenza (H5N1) can also be found below. As always, for safe and effective use of these products, carefully follow all label instructions. Remember that your first line of defense, per CDC guidelines, is the frequent and thorough washing of hands with soap and water. Hard surface disinfectant products are not for use on skin and should only be used on hard, non-porous surfaces.

Economic Alternatives to Granite Slab Countertops

by The Tile Shop 10. November 2008 03:04

Granite is a standard for luxury and durability, great for kitchen countertops,

a bathroom vanity, or a washroom workspace. Granite is an excellent

counter option.

Granite is the most durable of the Natural Stones carried at The Tile Shop.

It comes in a variety of sizes, colors, and textures. While all of these tiles can

be used in various creative applications the most common way to use them is

on a countertop. While most consumers may think the only way to enjoy a

granite countertop is by contacting a slab fabricator this simply isn’t true.

The Tile Shop carries an easy-to-do-it-yourself Granite Countertop System.

The system contains oversized tiles made specifically to fit a countertop with

various edging pieces to match any personal style. This is a unique and cost

effective option in comparison to granite slabs.

Tile installation specialists at any Tile Shop location can help teach you to install

you own granite countertop with this economical system, or if you are outside

of The Tile Shop’s market visit the DIY section on www.tileshop.com and watch the

do-it-yourself videos or download pdf's all about the installation process.
